Chairman of Design Council of Hong Kong, Prof. Eric Yim, led a tour to Bay Area, visiting Guangdong Industrial Design City, ShunDe Innovative Design Institue and Foshan Creative Park.

Guangdong Industrial Design City is one of the most influential design park in China, there are 3 major zones : Industrial Design, Incubation, Innovation & Development.  Foshan Creative Park provides a platform for more than 500 corporates and startups in Design & Innovation Industries.

香港設計委員會主席嚴志明教授昨天率團參訪了廣東工業設計城, 順德創新設計研究院及佛山創意園。

廣東工業設計城是國內有影響力的工業設計主題園區之一，建成三個基地 : 工業設計服務外包基地、新型產業孵化基地、原創產品研發基地。佛山創意產業園是一個集成的互動平臺，為創意企業服務，由十二家舊工廠改造而成，建築面積25萬平方米，經過5年的改造，十二家加工廠變成了500多家創意企業。
