Guangzhou Delegation Visited the Design Council of Hong Kong

 The Chairman of the Design Council of Hong Kong (DCHK) Prof Eric Yim and executive committee member of DCHK Dr Alex Lee received a Guangzhou delegation on 11 January 2017 at the Federation of Hong Kong Industries. Representative from Thei also attended. The delegation was led by Prof Wang (信息部副部長王曉紅教授) from China Centre for International Economic Exchange and Mr Hu Qizhi, the President of Guangdong Industrial Design Association. The purpose of the visit was mainly to understand the role of DCHK and D-Mark Certification Scheme. Furthermore, to explore co-operation opportunities to enhance the sharing between Hong Kong and China designers, and encourage more companies to add value to their business through quality design.

粵港澳創新設計大灣的國家戰略調研組拜訪香港設計委員會

香港設計委員會主席嚴志明教授和執行委員會成員李建明博士於2017年1月11日在香港工業總會接待粵港澳創新設計大灣的國家戰略調研組。香港高等教育科技學院設計學系代表亦有出席。調研組由中國創新設計十年發展規劃專家組組長及國際經濟交流中心信息部副部長王曉紅教授, 和廣東工業設計協會會長胡啟志博士帶領。調研組是次拜訪目的是希望了解香港設計委員會的理念、D嘜認證計劃的運作, 以及探討如何加強中港兩地設計專才的交流, 促進兩地設計工業發展和合作空間。
