Nov 25, 2018 – 深圳iADC國際藝展中心產品展示廳開幕禮暨媒體發佈會 – 由香港工業總會和其轄下之香港設計委員會主辦的「香港雙品牌館 – 深圳站」已於2018年11月25日深圳iADC滿京華國際藝展中心開幕。開幕禮特別邀請到香港特區政府駐深圳聯絡處主任鄧月容先生出席並擔任主禮嘉賓，在香港設計委員會主席嚴志明教授及特別嘉賓梁志天設計集團創始人梁志天先生的陪同下，為產品陳列室掀開序幕。

在香港特別行政區政府「發展品牌、升級轉型及拓展內銷市場的專項基金」（BUD專項基金）「機構支援計劃」的資助下，香港工業總會和其轄下香港設計委員會正推動一項名為『走進內地市場之品牌推廣計劃：「香港設計」、「香港製造」- 深圳及成都』的計劃，簡稱「雙品牌推廣計劃」，為香港設計委員會50 週年誌慶項目之一。 「香港雙品牌館」將於2018年11月25日於深圳iADC（國際藝展中心）設立為期六個月的產品陳列室展出五十件「香港製造」x「香港設計」的時裝及服飾、首飾、皮具、鐘錶、眼鏡及光學產品等相關用品，以促進香港製造及設計行業與深圳之製造、零售及設計業界進行交流。接下來香港設計委員會亦會在深圳舉行合共五場的商務交流會及研討會，讓兩地業界的設計師及製造商聚首一堂，在不同的領域中互相分享最新的發展趨勢，同時希望通過深港的文創交流合作，以跨地域、跨界別的協作為本，集結業界展示可行的品牌合作方案。

「DesignXcel」Thank you all for attending the Kickoff Event for the first edition of Joint-School Design Exhibition organised by the Design Council of Hong Kong (DCHK), the project is now officially named 「DesignXcel」. 感謝各位出席由香港設計委員會主辦的首個香港聯校設計展覽啟動禮，項目已正式命名為《設計列陣》。

The Chairman of the Design Council of Hong Kong (DCHK) Prof. Eric C Yim visited a D-Mark holder “MingCha Limited” on 23 February 2017 (Thursday). Mingcha is also an award-winning brand for premium Chinese tea. The founder Ms Vivian Mak introduced the brand development, wonderful collection of teas and the sophisticated packaging to Prof Yim. They shared insights and experience on using creativity and design to penetrate into markets and enhance the brand name.
香港設計委員會主席嚴志明教授於2017年2月23日(星期四) 拜訪了明茶房有限公司，創辦人麥蕙蘭接待。明茶房是香港D嘜准用證公司，並榮獲優秀茶葉品牌大獎。麥小姐向嚴主席介紹品牌的宗旨、產品特色和包裝設計，雙方分享了如何利用創意及設計優化傳統手藝名茶，和交流設計如何影響品牌的市場營銷和發展。

FHKI co-create project – MOZACCO kick-off ceremony was held on 12 Feb 2017, at the Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon 2017.

A new cross-sectoral co-create brand – MOZACCO was launched on 10 Feb 2017, a project collaborated by local designers, industrialists and athletes.
由本地設計、工業和運動三個界別攜手打造的百分百香港原創新品牌 — MOZACCO於2017年2月10日舉行啟動典禮。

The Chairman of the Design Council of Hong Kong (DCHK) Prof Eric Yim and executive committee member of DCHK Dr Alex Lee received a Guangzhou delegation on 11 January 2017 at the Federation of Hong Kong Industries. Representative from Thei also attended. The delegation was led by Prof Wang (信息部副部長王曉紅教授) from China Centre for International Economic Exchange and Mr Hu Qizhi, the President of Guangdong Industrial Design Association. The purpose of the visit was mainly to understand the role of DCHK and D-Mark Certification Scheme. Furthermore, to explore co-operation opportunities to enhance the sharing between Hong Kong and China designers, and encourage more companies to add value to their business through quality design. 香港設計委員會主席嚴志明教授和執行委員會成員李建明博士於2017年1月11日在香港工業總會接待粵港澳創新設計大灣的國家戰略調研組。香港高等教育科技學院設計學系代表亦有出席。調研組由中國創新設計十年發展規劃專家組組長及國際經濟交流中心信息部副部長王曉紅教授, 和廣東工業設計協會會長胡啟志博士帶領。調研組是次拜訪目的是希望了解香港設計委員會的理念、D嘜認證計劃的運作, 以及探討如何加強中港兩地設計專才的交流, 促進兩地設計工業發展和合作空間。

The D-Mark Presentation Ceremony was successfully held at the Regal Hong Kong Hotel on January 9, 2017. The Design Council of Hong Kong was honored to have invited the Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development Mr Gregory So to be our Guest of Honor to officiate at the ceremony. Other officiating guests include the Chairman of the Design Council of Hong Kong Prof. Eric Yim, the Chairman of Federation of Hong Kong Industries (FHKI) Prof Daniel Cheng, Deputy Chairman of FHKI Mr Jimmy Kwok and Deputy Chairman of FHKI Dr Daniel Yip. Mr Gregory So and Prof Eric Yim presented certificates to 45 D-Mark holders from various industries such as toys, jewelry, watches, interior design, to recognize their outstanding contributions in promoting Hong Kong quality design. 由香港工業總會轄下的香港設計委員會推出之「香港D嘜設計認證」 (D-Mark) 於2017年1月9日假富豪香港酒店舉行准用證頒發典禮，感謝各主禮嘉賓為「香港D嘜准用證頒發典禮」進行啟動儀式，嘉賓包括：商務及經濟發展局局長蘇錦樑先生、香港設計委員會主席及工總副主席嚴志明教授、工總主席鄭文聰教授、工總副主席郭振華、及工總副主席葉中賢博士。蘇錦樑局長、嚴志明主席頒發「香港D嘜設計認證」予45間來自不同行業的企業，其中行業包括玩具、珠寶、鐘錶、室內設計等，以表揚各企業在設計上的努力，共同推動設計工業，把香港的設計發揚光大。

Six D-Mark holders’ brands, i.e. Giormani, LAMON TEA, Handmaid Production, ma façon, Cloud Candy and Ascendent Office Furniture have been showcasing their own designer products at the D-Mark Pavilion of the Good Goods 2016. Good Goods 2016 is held from 23 December 2016 until 8 January 2017 in Guangzhou Tianhe District. Federation of Hong Kong Industries is the co-organising of Good Goods 2016 and Design Council of Hong Kong is the organizer of the D-Mark Pavilion. The Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development Mr. Gregory So also visited the D-Mark Pavilion on 23 December 2016 to show his support to participating D-Mark holders. Good Goods 2016 also has an e-platform in which consumers in the mainland can make online purchases of D-Mark products. 六家獲D嘜認證的設計品牌參加了於2016年12月23日至2017年1月6日由香港工業總會協辦在廣州天河區舉行的品品2016展銷會暨嘉年華。香港設計委員會在場內為六家品牌企業作統籌，為品牌設立跨境直銷館，國內買家除可在館內購買它們的設計產品，亦可在網上平台購買。這六家參展品牌包括茲曼尼Giormani、經典鴨LAMON TEA、簡梘、ma façon、Cloud Candy和晨豐傢品。商務及經濟發展局局長蘇錦樑先生亦參觀它們在直銷館的攤位以作支持。

The 2016 HKAI Awards Presentation Ceremony-cum-Gala Dinner was held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on 13 December 2016. The ceremony was officiated by the Hon C Y Leung, Chief Executive of the HKSAR. This year on the Consumer Product Design category, 74 entries were received, all of which demonstrated extremely high standards of product innovation, and finally one Grand Award, three Awards and seven Certificate of Merit winners triumphed at the gala.

May 13, 2016 – The opening ceremony was organized by Innovative Entrepreneur Association. It was held at HKTDC’s Entrepreneur Day on 13 May 2016. 開幕典禮暨頒獎典禮於2016 年5月13 日假座香港貿易發展局的創業日舉行。典禮是跨産業「創」+「造」配對計劃項目之其中一環，項目由香港特別行政區政府「創意香港」贊助，項目主要提供商機給本地設計師，包括與THE WAVE 合作，協助創業設計師拓展本土零售，另外鼓勵香港設計師參展華南地區博覽會。

Apr 22, 2016 – Design Council of Hong Kong’s Chairman Mr. Eric Yim and members visited PolyU on 22 April 2016 for an introduction and demonstration of the usage of i.Dummy. 香港設計委員會主席嚴志明先生及會員於2016年4月22日出席香港理工大學I.Dummy的介紹。

Mar 18, 2016 – The exhibition is open to the publicat the Hong Kong Design Institute Gallery between 18 March 2016and 30 May 2016. Design Council of Hong Kong (DCHK) is one of the supporting organizations of the exhibition. 攝影展於2016年3月18日至5月30日假座香港知專設計學院HKDI Gallery舉行並給公眾人士免費參觀。香港設計委員會是其中一家支持單位。

Sep 19, 2015 – Members of Design Council of Hong Kong (DCHK), D-Mark certified companies and the Federation of Hong Kong Industries (FHKI) paid a visit to the Tribute Hotel in Yau Ma Tei on 16 September 2015. 香港設計委員會、D嘜認證公司及香 港工業總會的成員於2015年9月16日 參觀位於油麻地的 Tribute Hotel 。

Mar 19, 2015 – The Design Council of Hong Kong (DCHK), under the auspices of the Federation of Hong Kong Industries (FHKI) organized the Hong Kong D-Mark Launch Ceremony on 19 March 2015 at the FHKI’s headquarter. 香港工業總會（工總）轄下的香港設計委員會於2015年3月19日假座工總舉行「香港D嘜設計認證啟動禮」港D嘜設計認證啟動禮」，

Dec 3, 2014 – Design Council of Hong Kong (DCHK) was one of the strategic partners of the GDN Symposium. 2014. 該活動於12月3日至4日假座香港會議展覽中心與設計營商周設計及創新科技博覽同時舉行。

Nov 28, 2014 – Hong Kong Design Institute (HKDI) & IVE (Lee Wai Lee) collaborated with design institutions and museums from Sweden, Germany and Switzerland to organize 4 international design exhibitions at the HKDI Gallery, d-mart and Experience Center. HKDI及IVE（李惠利）與來自瑞典、德國及瑞士的設計機構及博物館合作，分別於 HKDI Gallery、d-mart 及 Experience Centre舉行四個大型國際級設計展覽。展覽活動由2014年11月至2015年3月尾舉行。
